How’d you do it at 51 years old?
One of you asked me that in the DMs last week.
Just read this entire post.
Listen, I believe that if we’ve become exceptional at something, it’s our obligation to help others become even more exceptional.
There’s enough room for everyone at the top. The problem isn’t who’s up here, it’s those at the bottom judging anyone willing to commit to the shitty, miserable, boring, redundant preamble required to become exceptional.
I believe every problem already has an existing solution. The struggle is overcoming your fragile little ego & fear of disappointment.
Social media allows people around the globe to connect in a way that’s never been possible previously.
Yet it’s littered with envious jealous fault finding mthrfkrs acting like crabs in a bucket towards anyone seeking to become their highest self.
It’s not fear of failure,
it’s the fear of being seen to fail that keeps people in that bucket.
I ask myself 2 questions at the beginning of every day
What haven’t I done?
How can I do one more rep in what I’m already doing right now?
Here’s how I did it:
- I stopped giving a fuck about other people’s opinions
- I leverage myself against myself
- I set daily micro goals in health, finance & relationships
- I make the wins of yesterday the standards for today
- I put myself in uncomfortable situations to force growth
- I never miss
Too many people get FOMO looking at social media thinking everyone is exceptional except them.
Sure, there are a lot of exceptional mthrfkrs in the world & some genuine killers on social media.
I always keep two things in mind online.
Every exceptional son of a bitch began as a disaster who didn’t know how to do anything.
Every fault finding excuse making little bitch, is never going to come close to the points I put on the board in just one day.
Just a reminder that if you’re willing to suck at something, you’re already ahead of 99% of people online.
Never miss
