First off, today is my birthday. 🎂
Will I have cake today? Maybe.

Okay so! I knew this piece would be some work before I began. 😅 This is the most giraffes I have put into a piece thus far. Am I halfway done? MAYBE! I’m doing things with paper I haven’t done before.

Things I’ve learned:
1. Tissue paper is challenging to work with when you paint it. It acts up!
2. Giraffes would be lovely in Queen Charlotte-esque wigs.
3. If I think I have ripped enough paper for a section, I haven’t. I need to rip more.
4. I would happily do this again.
5. A reminder: (for me) collage work is significantly more challenging (rewarding?) than painting.

Also, thank you @holistic_elements.sa & the ladies from the Vision Board party - this is what I’ve been doing with the leftover magazines. 😅
