Throwback Thursday! ✨
From the 20th-anniversary gala of @leconcertdastree at @staatsoperberlin in November 2021: a live performance of “A dispetto di un volto ingrato” from Händel’s Tamerlano (the Da Capo, with ornaments… of course!), conducted by the wonderful @emmanuellehaim.
This recording is also featured on the CD released by @eratofrance, alongside many incredible artists who took part in this special evening.
Sharing it now feels even more meaningful as I’m currently working with Emmanuelle again—this time at @theatre_champs_elysees for Händel’s Semele, opening on February 6!
