First Indy slam of the year this weekend! I have 3 goals every time I compete. 1) Perform one poem well. 2) Make finalist. 3) Win. Poetry especially on the competitive side can be truly humbling as on any given night there’s so many variables. These 3 goals keep me grounded as I call of them a win. I’m very excited to see where 2025 takes me, we will see what happens. #poetry #slampoetry
