I am really pleased that I was given the opportunity to amplify voices for Black Asian Minority Ethnic Women on TV. Since the start of my research journey over the last few years, I have been researching the topic of infertility and furthermore women’s health conditions impacting infertility. I am truly honoured and humbled that
@ellinorknoxborn gave me the opportunity to share parts of my research with the SVT Swedish TV channel. This is small snippet of an interview I was asked to do to represent ethnic minority women encountering infertility and the distress around this important topic.
I am ever so grateful to my supervisor
@drjansmith who has been extremely supportive in helping bring my thoughts and ideas to reality in my ongoing academic journey. I could not have achieved my goals in this research without your guidance!
Of course an extended thank you to the Glasgow Caledonian University Media and Applied Psychology department for the ongoing training.
Finally to my beautiful mother and sisters
@uzy.sa @shazeaa_j for believing in me. To my fellow trainees around me and friends around me, your encouragement and support has been incredible. My love and prayers are always for you all 💞
Here’s to achieving my final research this year focusing on Uterine Fibroids amongst Black and White women with the continuous support from
@guidancesuite and the lovely ladies for always encouraging me to keep putting the work in! (This pic is from years ago.. I have not graduated recently or anything 🥹)
