I used to think this until I realised it's just internalised ageism and feeding into patriarchy bs that women/afab in particular are more appealing and worth more, when youthful. I used to get happy when I was told I look 30 (I'm nearly 48) but now I just see it as a reflection of a youth obsessed society. Ageing is a blessing many don't get ❤️
