Podcast episode CENSORED. I had to laugh a little this week.
Apparently, an old podcast episode I recorded over a year ago was pulled down because there were “complaints” that I was too pro-vax — simply because my website mentions that we offer vaccines at the office (which, by the way, is the standard of care in pediatrics).

Censorship has no place in real health conversations.
For years, people were (rightfully) outraged when posts and podcasts were pulled down for being “too anti-vax.”
Now, things are being pulled down for being “too pro-vax”?
It’s the same problem — silencing conversations because a few people don’t like them.

We need to be able to talk about every topic — especially vaccines — openly, honestly, and without fear.
Vaccines are a medical product, like any other, and should be discussed with good data, strong science, and clear-headed thinking.
Not censorship. Not emotion.
Real science requires real conversation.

And honestly… it’s kind of funny.
No matter what I say about vaccines — no matter how balanced, how evidence-based, or how thoughtful — someone is upset.
And that’s okay.
Everyone needs to get over it and move forward.
We have important discussions to have — for our kids, our families, and our future.

I'm having my first baby in July, and I'm really concerned about everything I'm seeing. I ordered and read two books by Dr. Paul Thomas and I'm still not fully convinced on whether to vaccine or not. Please help!

100% agree. Being close-minded is unhelpful, whichever side of the fence we sit on. We are all doing the best with what we know. Shutting out important and valid elements of the conversation is emotional thinking rather than critical & rational thinking.

Unbelievable. I’m crunchy AF, but we need to be able to discuss ALL topics in an evidence based manner. Informed consent matters! And it goes both ways

Support you, your approach, and your mission. We are too polarized and need to find some common ground. 🙌

Agreed, Joel! Everyone deserves a voice… this is a threat to freedom of speech… it can only ramp up the new paranoia!👏

Informed consent. People still don’t respect this most basic, critical freedom.
