A little slice of paradise on this beautiful island 🤍🤍…
📍Cala Turqueta
🩵 South west of the island this beach is good one to visit if you’re seeking an unspoilt sandy cove and staying this side of the island.
🩵 It’s just a 10/15 minute walk from the decent sized car park so not a long walk compared to some of the other virgin coves. Great for kids! Please note the walk there is slightly downhill so returning to your car will be up hill! It’s not bad at all but just an fyi!
🩵 No facilities once there but at the start of the walk is a cafe/bar and toilets.
🩵 Clear turquoise water and flanked by cliffs and pine trees which shelter it from winds and any big waves.
🩵 Get there early or late to get parked. Or take the bus!
🩵 Late afternoon the sun starts going down behind the pine trees so parts became shaded but we liked that as provided some respite from the sun.

Please note if you visit this beach in the summer it will be much busier! The sea also gets visits from lots of boat tours during the summer too another way to see the beach.
🚗 It is just off the main road ME-1 near Ciutadella and signposted. There is a decent size car park but it does get busy and full in the summer so would recommend early morning or late afternoon in July/August.
🚌 Alternatively you can get the beach bus! The 68 goes from Ciutadella’s Plaça des Pins currently Monday to Saturday at 10:15, 12:15, 16:15 and departs the beach back to Ciutadella 12:45, 16:45 and 19:45. Subject to changes. Check out @moutmenorca

That looks absolutely stunning. Your page really entices me to visit Menorca 😍 I’ve never been, I do love Majorca which I’ve visited many times. Would you say they were similar?
