I’m so mad that the only kind of love we get “sold” from a young age is romantic love. It’s all about finding a single partner and riding the whirlwind of emotions straight to matrimony. I’m married now and love my husband and kids more than anything, but I find myself deeply craving revolutionary love. People binding together to protect each other and those around them, to build and teach and support, to fight back together. We aren’t “sold” this kind of love because this love challenges power instead of buying diamonds and breeding workers.
