An amazing experience to be invited to produce
Jamiroquai’s Dynamite album which was released 20 years ago today. Recorded in Buckinghamshire, Los Angeles and New York
The band was recorded to tape on two locked 24 track Studer A827s and then re-recorded off the play heads into Pro Tools at 96kHz (not easy in 2005). Recorded on Jay’s E Series SSL. I mixed in NY between a Neve VR and SSL 9000 and then finally everything went back through the E-Series on to 1/2 inch tape. I loved making this album.

You did a great job with this album. The sound quality and the production are top notch. Probably my favourite Jamiroquai album from the new millennium. Thank you so much! 🫡👏🏻👏🏻

such a great album. Grew up with the old records, by the time this one came around the corner I was ready and you guys delivered the soundtrack to my college years. Thanks a million
