about a year and a half ago i started working in the box office, and then later interning in the marketing office, at my favorite music venue ever: the @930club . i’m such a big fan that i threw my 24th birthday party in a recreation of it in minecraft. today i accepted a full time job as community manager with them.

working here has seriously been one of the most gratifying things in my life. i’ve met so many people i am so happy to not only call coworkers but also my close friends, i’ve helped put on shows for so many of my favorite artists ever, i’ve photographed plenty of personally impactful artists, been trusted to direct my own internal photoshoots, and most of all i’ve been able to be a small part of a place that is so foundational to my and so many others’ love for music.

i waited in line outside of this venue for hours after high school multiple times a week to be front and center at the barricade and would go to class with my ears ringing the next day. now i get to be in the role that high schooler always wanted but never thought was attainable.

thank you to everybody that has supported me, worked with me, gone to four shows a week with me, and made this time so special. i can’t wait to see what the future here brings (and to have insurance). coworkers, you’re stuck with me!
