On my knees behind my wife as she gives a word to our students — easily my favorite photo of us ever taken.
Because this moment is the story.
After everything we’ve walked through these past 3 years… the heartbreak, the loss, the disappointment — to taste and see the Lord’s goodness again when we truly didn’t know if we would… I’m undone.
The anointing she carries is something I’ll never be able to explain. The way she hears from heaven, leads with authority, and loves with purity — she’ll forever be greater than me. I’ll always be the one in the background, just in awe of who God created her to be.
A year and a half ago, we stepped into Shoreline Youth with 30 students in the room. This week, 373 students checked in. 17 were duplicates — which means 356 students were in the room. That’s not hype. That’s not strategy. That’s not us.
That’s God. Only God.
COLORWAY wasn’t just our biggest night.
It was a full-circle moment. A God kept us moment. A reminder that His promises still stand — even when it feels like everything around us is falling apart.
I’m just grateful to still be in the story.
