Happy Birthday @wrightjude !! Fatherhood and 33 looks good on you! 🥰 this is the year🙌🏼 by @cary_grace
// LIFE LATELY —— The past six months have been some of the most healing, refining, stretching, and grace-filled months of our lives. We spent a month back home in Georgia with our family, watched Selah grow into the sweetest three-and-a-half-month-old, and took our first real vacation in years where I didn’t even bring my laptop. If you know me, you know that alone was a miracle. 😂 We also had the honor of leading and preaching at our best friends’ Centered Youth Conference in San Marcos, Texas. It was our first ministry assignment since January, and it’s hard to explain what that weekend meant to us. We walked into it after navigating one of the greatest challenges and transitions our family has ever faced, but we were surrounded by people who covered us with mercy, grace, kindness, support, and belief. So many of them are pictured here, and so many aren’t, but we will never forget the people who loved us when we needed it most. Then, in a turn we definitely did not have on our 2026 bingo card, we packed up our lives and moved to the Bay Area to join @echochurchlive as the new @echo.students pastors at their North San Jose campus. God answered a huge and bold prayer through Pastors @filipesantos and @mandysantos , @sarahannrogers and @williamjrogers , @davidramirez____ , @steven_zeier , and so many others. They didn’t just look at our family as an asset to their church—they committed to making a real investment into the health, growth, and healing of our family. There is so much more to the story and how God orchestrated all of this. Maybe one day we’ll tell it. But right now, we’re simply grateful for the mercy and grace of a God who chooses to use us in spite of us. And somehow, less than a month after saying yes, we took more than 130 students and leaders to summer camp. We had under a month to help pull it together, and when we first said yes, fewer than 30 students were registered. Needless to say…GOD COOKED. 😂🔥 We’ve already tasted and seen His goodness more than we deserve, and we can’t wait to see what He does next. JESUS IS IN THE BAY! P.s. the AI info is because the new ai edits for the disposable camera filter on IG stories is elite. by @cary_grace
Happy Father’s Day @wrightjude 🤍 watching you step into fatherhood has been one of my many blessings. You care for and love our daughter so well! She is incredibly blessed to have you as her dad! by @cary_grace
// month two of Selah Grace —— featured first flights with no crying and being “those people”, daddy daughter first date, the best BLT we have ever had, open doors, pizza dates, downtown coffee adventures, 20 hour road trip, seven states, first beach trip, family people tour, meeting the greats of grand parenting, playing with cousins, holding heads up, trying to stand up, lots of blow outs, lots of worship, a lot of trusting God, kiss attacks, and learning that if you fake cry you’ll still get picked up and held. We wouldn’t change a thing. You have our hearts. 💕 by @cary_grace
📸 Here is ONE MONTH of sunshine in our camera roll ——— One month of late nights, tiny yawns, milk-drunk naps, and learning a kind of love we never knew existed. One month of watching God answer prayers we carried for years. One month of realizing our hearts don’t belong to us anymore. Selah Grace, you are our sunshine. And we will spend the rest of our lives reminding you that you were created with purpose, covered in prayer, and deeply loved by God. 🌞🥰 by @cary_grace
// I USED TO HATE MOTHER’S DAY —— up until this chapter in my life, Mother’s Day was a hard day for me. If you know my story, you knew I grew up without a mom, and every year I watched friends celebrate their mothers while I quietly carried the weight of not having that opportunity myself. Even in ministry, I would watch people honor their moms online and from stages, and honestly… I never really felt like I had a place in this day. But 4 weeks ago, everything changed when you gave birth to our sweet Selah Grace, you gave me a reason to celebrate Mother’s Day for the very first time. And not just celebrate it — honor it. God really knew what He was doing when He led me to you. Watching you become a mother has been one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed. The way you love her, comfort her, forgive us when we are fussy, sacrifice for her, and pour yourself out for our little girl has revealed the heart of God to me in a fresh way. You were made for this. Cary Grace, thank you for giving our daughter a mother who is gentle, strong, faithful, nurturing, and full of grace. Thank you for giving me a home I never really had growing up. Selah will never have to wonder if she’s loved because of the way you love her already. So this day that once carried grief for me now carries gratitude. My girls have given me a better story. Happy first Mother’s Day, I honor and adore you 🌼 by @cary_grace
📸 Selah Grace / 04.15.26 —— everything about you is a hallelujah! 🙌🏽 the way you’ve showed up and changed everything in the best way is indescribable. Thank you for being our reminder to pause and rest in God’s undeserved favor. 🥹💕 by @cary_grace
💕 Selah Grace Wright / 4.15.26 / 2:57pm —— You were born in a season that has been teaching us to slow down and trust God and each other more deeply than ever before. With gratitude, you now serve as a reminder that He is always working all things for good—even when we can’t see it. Your first name Selah means to pause, breathe, reflect, to be still and know. Your middle name Grace means undeserved favor; and your last name Wright is a craftsmen name which means to build and create. Sweet Selah bean, you are a pause in the middle of the noise, a reminder of God’s grace we didn’t deserve, and a girl who will learn to build only good things. As your parents, we vow to teach you to stand firm in who God is, to not rush what He is building, and to live a full life marked by His presence. Our love for you is completely unconditional. You have already changed our lives and hearts forever. May you grow up trusting, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14 We love you, forever and always. — Mom & Dad 💕 #baby #birth #girl #christian videography by @cary_grace
