I’ve been reading about care practices. Not just as an act, but as a way of moving through the world. How they shape attention, perception, human connection. How they ask you to slow down, to notice, to listen before you respond.

Lately, my own research has been circling the idea of cinematics beyond the screen. Maybe it’s just me but I think cinematic seeing and care practices overlap.

Maybe care and cinema share this: an attention so deep it becomes a form of presence. And maybe that’s what we owe each other. No frame exists in isolation, and neither do we. #Cinematic #northcoast

“Not every scene needs you to shape it” is what I’ll carry with my for the rest of the day today.
