An update from Union Plaza in downtown Honolulu, with footage from October 12, when the latest activity began, and this morning, October 14, 2026. Trash is piled up behind the building, while security remains stationed at the front & back. Both entrances appear secured with chains, padlocks, and reinforced locking hardware. The building has been at the center of an ongoing dispute involving evictions, utility shutoffs, safety concerns, and plans to convert the property into student housing. Former occupants told me they were not shown any paperwork when they were forced to leave and that personal belongings remain inside that they still need to retrieve. I was also told only four people remain in the building, but that has not been confirmed. Questions remain about the removals, access to belongings, and emergency exits. Updates and corrections are welcome.

Never been this wound up in a sauna…🤬🥵 We met with the FSAI to ask them (on the public’s behalf) what their feelings were regarding the EU push to harmonise maximum permitted levels of nutrients and further regulate our already highly regulated and very safe food supplement market. I had 2 major takeaways: 1) they either hadn’t thought of the potential that nutrients might be beneficial and that balancing the perceived potential harms against the very evident benefits would be a smart move on behalf of the Irish population’s HEALTH - OR - their scientific advisory board who are the ones making our submissions to the EC as to what the Irish population should have available to us are subject to forces beyond our control…cos nothing else makes sense. 2) they had zero statistics to offer as to any ACTUAL harms that had taken place in the Irish population from nutrient toxicity from supplement overdosing. Instead they had SHUT DOWN the nutrivigilence program that they piloted back in 2021. Due to a lack of available funds…which means it’s basically not a priority….which means there’s a very low risk of harm…which brings us back to that first question. If there’s a very low theoretical risk from nutrient supplements, of which nearly all are 100% reversible when we just stop taking the supplement. And if lots of people experience benefits currently. And lots of studies reinforce that this isn’t just placebo from consuming some witchy snake oil. Then…why are the EU insisting on policing and further limiting safe nutrient supplements sales in a well regulated market…? It’s giving strong witch hunt vibes and I don’t like it. As we watch stars shine in the night sky, we shine right back at them. 🌟 This photo of Egypt’s Nile River was taken aboard the @ISS as it soared above Earth. The river sparkles with city lights, highlighting where people live along the waterways. #Astrophotography #Earth #Egypt
