THANK YOU to Julia and Sarah for being an inspiration of love! Your beautiful wedding was one of my favorite evenings of the summer - ice cream, bubbles, pop music, bbq and belle isle…what more could a girl ask for?!
And thank you @karipaine for taking a moment amidst the joyful celebration to SEE me, speaking my love language when you asked “would you mind if we did a little photoshoot? I have an idea…”💖 I feel like I had the teen vogue moment I’ve always dreamed of!!!

But don’t let the IG rose colored filters fool you! Although I’ve had a very fun pregnant girl summer, it hasn’t all been glitz & gloss. Very humbling experience. What the pics don’t say (but every person who has been pregnant in the summer knows) my hemorroids have been holleringgg, the boob sweat runeath over, and every time I eat and try to go to sleep, hot lava fills my throat no matter how many tums I take 😭 dm me for a whole other conversation about 💩💩💩 but with labor day weekend winding down and summer’s final goodbye with Dally in sight, I’m taking time to retreat into recluse, take several deep breaths and naps, eat ice cream, and bask in relief - I made it through the oppressively hot humid midwest summer days of parenting a toddler + pregnancy! Some days just barely 😅 (s/o to mike) feeling very ready to get off this rollercoaster and embark on the next one 🎢✨
