I wrote these words while on a road trip to Leh , watching the mountains go by.
What do i see in these mountains!!
I see them sad, i see them in solitary confinement.. these lonely cones of stones, stare eagerly at every car that slices their body in an attempt to conquer them and cross over to the next mountain.
Are they expecting us to stop by, pat them, touch them with sympathy and relieve them of the curse of having to stand tall centuries over centuries sometimes, marking a valley, sometimes a border, sometimes a shelter to a village etc etc.
