a year agoWe’re biased but merino wool layers and accessories! Light, don’t need washing often, cosy, soft, amazing to sleep in and wear all day! And compact. You can’t go wrong🐏❤️
a year agoCORKSCREW!! You'll only ever forget it once! Other 'staples' & luxuries we rely on are our Cadac, our @olproeverywhere Blankos, firelighter, outdoor mat, dustpan and brush, boot box, wet wipes, spare tent pegs, magnetic and self adhesive hooks and a damn good insulated screen for winter ❄️
a year agoWhat a fab idea. Personally I couldn’t live without our @jackery.uk . We don’t have electric points in our van so this saves any trip we do x
a year agoWould also recommend a wax burner and @waxpop.creations wax melts … especially the citronella one. The only thing that’s ever kept bugs away for us! Plan to use it with some gorgeous smelling melts over the winter making the van feel cosy and comforting,
a year agoJungle blankets (snugpak) and a Ridgemonkey @snugpakuk @ridgemonkey are favourites
a year agoWe have had an omnia oven for a few years but got frustrated with how long it takes to cook anything if you use it on an electric hob rather than gas. We are mostly on sites with electric hook up it makes sense to use the electricity you are paying for. This summer we bought a small air fryer and it worked really well. It doesn't take up much more space than the omnia.
a year agoTelescopic stools! They’ve been used around the table inside the van (so everyone can sit at the actual table) and we also use them a lot outside to eat as we find those pack down small chairs angle you backwards making them rubbish for kids (and me!) to sit in and eat. Also make a good footstool, ladder for putting the fairy lights up and so much more!
