Although the deeper open water areas had started to produce the weed raft in a corner had become the mother nest for the longer day time hours during high summer, so it was make a choice time. Do I sit it out for a short bite time in the early hours or move my focuse to the raft of plenty? Well the latter won that choice. A plan was hatched to bait a couple of small holes I’d found on their patrol route in and out of the raft, so I’d maybe get two bites at the cherry in the evenings as they left and in the morning when they returned.
