This is my Make Lab fit on Friday.
Me Made:
@stitchwitchpatterns,
#bathursttop.
I had back-to-back Make Lab events last week (a milestone!), and only a handful of photos to document them.
On Friday night, I popped up at the Make Building in Anaheim with my Bead Bar, and on Saturday afternoon, I brought my Brick Printing experience to Swap Mommy, a clothing exchange event. Giving people permission to make something, to use their hands, to take time to enter a playful mindset is my goal. I really feel called to curate and activate spaces for people, from 0-100, to engage with materials to exercise their playful bones.
I’m growing Make Lab at (what feels like) a slug’s pace, but that’s how I do things, slow and steady, one tiny step at a time. Letting things unfold in their own time, gaining confidence in myself to make Make Lab real (so many challenges for a quiet introvert). I’m proud of how Make Lab has grown so far, but my vision for it is so much bigger.
