On the surface, this is a love song, but it’s more about platonic love as opposed to romantic. Loving your friends. Your neighbors. It was written after a long drive down the highway together. One of those late night ventures where you’ve exhausted all the music and you’re just left to talk about the good, the bad, all of the in betweens. You look around and think “fuck, I love these people.” Through it all. No conditions. No reservations. Just showing up for your fellow beings wherever they’re at. Holding them up if they need it, knowing that they’ll do the same in return.

We haven’t released new music in a couple years, and it feels good to be releasing this song at this moment. When we could all be showing up for each other a little better - with more compassion. It’s not weak to be empathic, it’s actually really fucking cool and takes a lot of guts. So once you listen, go tell someone you love ‘em. It feels good. Real good.
