We had the pleasure of recording our new song “Love Me Right” at the great & wonderful studio of Gregory Lattimer - @makesoundgood. We made ourselves at home for a day in the middle of August of last year. The guys set up in the main tracking room, with Gregory, me, and my nylon set up in the other room. We played it all live, and then added in some flourishes. Gregory has a way of keeping a song true to itself, while still making it bust through the ceiling into a whole new light. He took this song and made it sound like a free flowing drive into the night of nostalgia. He’s the real deal, true blue. We’re lucky to have worked with such a gem. 💎 Here’s some BTS of the day we recorded. by @theminksss

This is for the ones who stick with you through it all, and a desire to lift them up when they need it too.

When the daytime shines
in the ember of that amber light
we can hang it all on the line
and let it out to dry
cuz it’s so clear in this light
that I’ll love you right

TWO WEEKS

Join us at Vinyl Tap on ELECTION DAY, August 6, to watch the gubernatorial primary results on TV, jam out to The Minks and Santa’s Ice Cold Pickers, and celebrate this experience with me. Win or lose, we win, and we have a grand ole time.

Mark your calendars and come on down. It’s free. It’s not a fundraiser. It’s a fun raiser baby.
