Cutting Through The Noise
It’s Black History Month @bhm_uk in the UK and as part of our celebrations, we attended the @blackinsport Summit and honestly, a lot of what was said really stuck with me.
Go after what you want. Embarrass yourself if you need to (be ‘a beg’ like the South-Londoners will say 🫠). Cringe later, but go anyway. While you’re trying to build relationships upwards, build sideways too…your next big thing might come from someone you just said “hello” to.
Collaboration really is the new competition. Find people doing what you want to do and work with them, you’ll move faster together. And most importantly, just show up. Be consistent. 1% better every day adds up.
