The last contractor didn’t flash the deck correctly, which caused the sill plate to rot. The seller’s agent called it a “minor issue,” but anyone who’s been around construction knows hidden water damage is never minor.

We gave them a fair price to do it right — repairing the rot and building their dream deck featuring a custom compass rose inlay 🌟

With these views, it deserves to be done right. We can’t wait to show you the finished project overlooking the Sacandaga! 🌲🏡 #thomasconstructionny #DeckRepair #UpstateNYConstruction #Carpentry #WaterDamageRepair #CompassRoseDeck #LakeHouseProject #DoItRight #Craftsmanship #CustomDeck #HomeImprovement #UpstateNYHomes
