Putting in the work getting every inch of this incredible piece of old ironwork scraped, prepped, and brought back to life, and the finished result was absolutely worth it. Details like this are what give an old building its character, and we love getting the chance to preserve them instead of replacing them .And yes… “Higher” by Creed felt like the only appropriate soundtrack. 🤘😂 taken in Ballston Spa, New York by @thomasconstructionny

We opened up this kitchen to create a brighter, more functional space built for everyday family life. We laid maple hardwoods throughout the entire main floor, matched with natural maple cabinetry, crisp white uppers, quartz countertops, custom trim work and a soft blue zellige tile backsplash to bring it all together. Finished with @CafeAppliances and @BoschHome appliances. taken in Ballston Lake, New York by @thomasconstructionny

Stephen knocked it out of the park again today... He installed this custom compass rose inlay on a deck we built last year up at Great Sacandaga Lake, and it completely transformed the space. The craftsmanship and attention to detail on this piece are unreal. taken in Great Sacandaga Lake by @thomasconstructionny

By order of the Peaky Blinders: Our very own Shelby brother is heading off to basic training 🇺🇸

Zeb has been part of the Thomas Construction crew for the past 5 years—working with us seasonally in high school, between college semesters, summers, and even squeezing in time before heading back to school. He’s been a steady, reliable presence on our jobsites and someone we’ve truly enjoyed having on the team.

Now he’s taking the next big step and has enlisted in the U.S. Army Infantry.

We couldn’t be more proud.

Zeb is smart, driven, and determined—and we have no doubt he’s going to do big things in life. This is just the beginning for him.

We’re going to miss him around here, but we’re excited to see where this next chapter takes him.

Good luck, Zeb. Go make it happen. 💪🇺🇸 by @thomasconstructionny

When we first purchased this house, it was covered in aluminum siding, the beautiful molding was hidden, the slate roof was falling off the mansard roof and the beauty seemed gone. But we knew it wasn’t lost. We recreated the broken corbels, added cornices to the windows and refreshed the detailed moldings. We had so much fun picking out historically accurate colors accenting the beautiful details. We couldn’t let this gorgeous house fade into the shadows. She deserves to shine! Come Spring we will refresh the front and side porches but for now, she can stand in her much deserved regality 💜 taken in Amsterdam, New York by @thomasconstructionny

The last contractor didn’t flash the deck correctly, which caused the sill plate to rot. The seller’s agent called it a “minor issue,” but anyone who’s been around construction knows hidden water damage is never minor.

We gave them a fair price to do it right — repairing the rot and building their dream deck featuring a custom compass rose inlay 🌟

With these views, it deserves to be done right. We can’t wait to show you the finished project overlooking the Sacandaga! 🌲🏡 #thomasconstructionny #DeckRepair #UpstateNYConstruction #Carpentry #WaterDamageRepair #CompassRoseDeck #LakeHouseProject #DoItRight #Craftsmanship #CustomDeck #HomeImprovement #UpstateNYHomes taken in Great Sacandaga Lake by @thomasconstructionny
