George Clooney once thanked his closest friends with $14 million in cash, packed into suitcases and delivered in a van disguised as a flower truck 💸🌹 According to his friend Rande Gerber, Clooney invited 14 of the people who’d stuck by him over the years to his Los Angeles home back in 2013. Waiting for each of them was a Tumi suitcase stuffed with $1 million in $20 bills. To pull it off, Clooney reportedly withdrew the money from a vault downtown and moved it in a van labeled “Florist.” He even paid the taxes on the gifts, so his friends got to keep every dollar. His reason, as Gerber tells it, was simple: he wanted to thank the people who’d helped him back when he was struggling, before the fame and the fortune.
