I had the honor of shooting my brother and Daejah’s pregnancy reveal yesterday and I’m so in love with how the photos came out. Idk how many times I caught myself thinking, “Wow… I’m really about to be an aunty,” “Teets is really finna be a daddy,” “Daejah pregnant fr.” I can’t even explain how excited I am, at this point Daejah basically my surrogate because I know they don’t think they’re about to give me the best birthday gift and I’m not gonna make it about me… except I definitely am. This is totally about me, y’all. Jkjk (kinda) Lmao. They’re fulfilling my Tía dreams.

But in all honesty, I’m so grateful they trusted me to capture this moment. I still can’t describe how I’m feeling, so I can’t imagine what they’re feeling. I’m excited for you two. I’m praying over y’all, and I truly believe you’re going to be covered, protected, and blessed every step of the way.

Teets, you’re growing into a new chapter of manhood as you step into fatherhood and I already see how much heart you’re bringing into it. And Daejah, you’re expanding into a new chapter of your womanhood as you step into motherhood, a role you’re already carrying with so much grace.

Y’all, take care of one another, continue to learn from one another, and show up for each other even when it gets tough… not out of obligation, but because you genuinely want to see each other grow and become the best versions of yourselves. There are going to be moments that feel overwhelming, moments that feel new and scary, and moments that change you forever, but you won’t be going through any of it alone.

You have each other. You have family. And you have a whole support system ready to hold you, guide you, and celebrate you through every high and every low. And through all of it, this little baby is already bringing so much love, softness, and purpose into your lives.

I know y’all are going to be incredible parents, and I cannot wait to meet my niece or nephew. This child is already so covered, so protected, and so deeply loved and they don’t even know the joy they’re about to bring into all of us. Trust me… we finna have a ball.
