A little over a year ago, we hosted a very special evening on the rooftop of Nine Orchard with One&Only Resorts, and pledged that 100% of the proceeds from that night would go towards bringing solar light to 2,000 families struggling with access to reliable electricity.
Today, we’re proud to share that those contributions will now impact more than 10,000 people over the next five years alone.
As part of the project, we commissioned a hand-painted mural by acclaimed South African street artist Ras Silas Motse — a radiant emblem of unity, resilience, and love. Etched within it are the names of those who made this project possible.

I’ve been to Lavender Hill a few times. Absolutely think it’s very deserving of the attention that it’s being given!! Bravo! I actually made a wonderful connection on my first trip there with the knitting grandma, Connie Abraham, (who is still in my life to this day). I also in the past, worked with Innovation: Africa as a consultant, a remarkable organization helping bringing solar power & water to many African countries.
