Harley Reid is a good sport — and not just when it comes to footy. The #WestCoastEagles star was affable throughout this special shoot for #STMPerth, even happily donning an 80s-inspired sportswear get-up to celebrate 40 years since Crown Perth opened in 1985. Reid’s easy-going energy lasted through outfit changes, having his new mullet zhooshed (and no, it’s not permed, for those asking) and a fully-clothed dip in the pool, through to posing for selfies with strangers and answering every request with a “Yeah, easy”. The midfielder, who is Crown’s principal entertainment and venue partner, also chatted to Jade Jurewicz about moving interstate on his own as a teen, the challenges of being a public figure, and remaining focussed on being at his best on and off the field.
