We’re often asked how we score matches, and the answer is:
WE DON’T!
We allow our panel of judges to discern who they believe won the match based on their personal criteria. Because of this, we make sure our judges are well-experienced so we can trust any decision they make is legitimate.
With that said, let’s introduce our most common judges since our move to Corridor Courts!
Gary Hilleshiem @hilleshiem_, proprietor of Des Moines Catch Club, is a BJJ black belt with over 20 years of experience. He has additional experience in wrestling, TKD (black belt), judo (black belt), combat submission wrestling (level 10 coach), taijutsu (2nd degree), and catch wrestling.
Travis Lang @ninja_tvo, head coach and owner of Liberty Grappling Club, is a BJJ black belt with over 10 years of grappling experience.
