ASL RUN ATX

hey y’all!

this account came to life because of how it all began. what started as running with a few friends one summer just for fun somehow turned into a full blown unofficial asl run club. the community that formed from simply showing up, moving together, and signing through it all has been really special.

so now i’m making it official. 🎉

we meet once a month for the asl run and cold plunge at the same location every time. we run three miles, all paces welcome, and end with a cold plunge at the crown jewel of atx: barton springs pool.

this space is about movement, access, community, and good vibes. whether you’re deaf, hearing, fluent, or learning, if you’re down to run, sign, and connect, you belong here.

i also want to share some love for our logo. it was created by estefani venutolo (@estefani.yk), a deaf latina motion graphic designer and austin native. here’s what she had to say about being part of this community:
