On November 15th Jake and I had dinner with my cousin’s family and talked about ways we could partner in business. We dreamed about what it might look like to open a studio together, but ultimately decided the time wasn’t right.

12 hours later my cousin’s husband texted us pictures of a building drenched in sunlight, for sale at a PRIME location in west Little Rock. And we decided maybe the time was right after all 🤣

2 days later we put in an offer, we closed on December 18, and construction began the same day.

I can’t believe this space belongs to us. I am so happy that I get to do this with people I love - it is truly a family affair, something that wouldn’t be possible without @emilywcavallo @contactcavallo and of course @jakecmaxwell 💞 I didn’t have any video of them to include in this post, but the work they have put into this project is immense.

We have big plans to share this space, and I look forward to seeing an entire community of artists create and serve other families here. More to come… xoxo
