Big news, photographers — we’re launching our Brightroom Studio Membership!!!! 🎉📸

Here’s what members get:
✦ Reduced hourly studio rate
✦ Add-on hours beginning at just $50/hr
✦ A spotlight on our social accounts
✦ Exclusive access to members-only events

Whether you’re shooting portraits, products, or passion projects — this can be your home base!

We created these memberships with photographers in mind, which means we designed them around seasons. Creative work ebbs and flows, and we never want you to feel locked into something that doesn’t fit where you are right now. That’s why memberships only require a 3-month commitment.

On November 15th Jake and I had dinner with my cousin’s family and talked about ways we could partner in business. We dreamed about what it might look like to open a studio together, but ultimately decided the time wasn’t right.

12 hours later my cousin’s husband texted us pictures of a building drenched in sunlight, for sale at a PRIME location in west Little Rock. And we decided maybe the time was right after all 🤣

2 days later we put in an offer, we closed on December 18, and construction began the same day.

I can’t believe this space belongs to us. I am so happy that I get to do this with people I love - it is truly a family affair, something that wouldn’t be possible without @emilywcavallo @contactcavallo and of course @jakecmaxwell 💞 I didn’t have any video of them to include in this post, but the work they have put into this project is immense.

We have big plans to share this space, and I look forward to seeing an entire community of artists create and serve other families here. More to come… xoxo taken in Little Rock, Arkansas by @thebrightroomstudio

I might cry typing this, but I am SOOOOO excited to announce HOME FOR THE HOWLIDAYS! 🐾❤️ A special day of family portraits benefiting @favlr - made possible with @getdognosh and @thebrightroomstudio 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

📅 Saturday, November 21, 2026 | 9AM–6PM
📍 The Brightroom Studio
✨ Reservations required!

Now I know what you’re thinking: “But Claret, you don’t do family photos.” I KNOW! 😂 But I’ll happily make an exception for a cause so close to my heart like supporting animal shelters! I’ve wanted to do this for a veeeeery long time, and the holidays felt like the perfect moment!

A $75 donation made directly to @favlr through our event donation page includes a 10-minute family session and up to three edited photos in @thebrightroomstudio beautiful holiday setup.

When you attend, you’ll also get an entry to win a basket of @getdognosh goodies! Want an extra chance? Bring unopened dog or cat food, treats, or toys for a second entry. Woho!!!

I’m volunteering my time & photography services, @thebrightroomstudio is donating the space and @getdognosh is donating the giveaway basket! Which means that 100% of the funds go directly to the nonprofit.

A huge thank-you to Katherine Killian, Allison Maxwell, and Rainey Gibson for helping bring this idea to life🥹

Thank you for ALLLL the comments on this Seniors reel - I know you’ve all been patiently waiting to see his Walkman dance moves in stills. That was an incredible part of his session but it wasn’t the only part - we started at an indoor studio then made our way to sunset on the streets and into the night. I have a gazillion favorites that I’ve tried to squeeze into one post.

He’s as cool as you think he is. Very grateful I got to be the one to do my best to capture his wonderful soul in photos! taken in Little Rock, Arkansas by @thebrightroomstudio

October updates at Brightroom!!!

We called the HOGS while changing out our seamless paper for the month. Not really, but we could have. A missed opportunity for sure. Black, red and white will be hanging all month long. PLEASE clean your shoes before stepping on the paper!!

We got a new strobe recently! Using it alongside the snoot can make for some FUNNNN photos.

Our monochromatic fabric backdrop is ready to play! I’m picturing a white + denim moment… 🤩

And of COURSE we can’t forget about the holiday backdrop!!! Start marketing your Christmas tree sessions now!!! taken in Little Rock, Arkansas by @thebrightroomstudio
