We all know what it’s like to have a list of tasks and projects that take months to complete virtually.
Aligning schedules, shifting between calls throughout the day, and of course what the
@sevenneighbours make sure to do, which is check in with how we’re arriving to calls wholistically.
That’s what makes coming together in person so special; the opportunity to strengthen our personal and professional relationships in real time, building off the momentum of each other’s inspired frequency.
This is what I did hosting my team to accomplish 4 months worth of meetings in 4 days:
1. Create a Nourishing Environment and Schedule ☀️
Conferences, events, or even retreats are often back to back in their scheduling, disregarding windows of nourishment like meals or time to process information all while being indoors.
I created a schedule that buffered our deep dive meetings with time for integration in nature and nutrient dense foods that kept us feeling energized throughout the week. In order to have people perform optimally, their human needs to be cared for, too.
2. Incorporate Playful Efficiency 🥏
Our laptops and meetings rooms are not the only way we can get things done. Neuroscience has proven that playful environments can be just as, if not more, stimulating and productive than environments that do not inspire creative thinking.
I weaved playful activities in our schedule that encouraged team building, inspiration, and a sense of “casual” brainstorming that had everyone’s nervous systems rested and their minds engaged.
3. My Leaders’ Playground Methodology 🌴
Current business and leadership models are so extractive that burnout and mental health leaves are at an all time high. By observing Natures Badass Blueprint, we can recreate the relationship that exists between people and business so that growth is achieved without sacrificing at all costs.
With my years of experience hosting retreats, training leaders, and collaborating with nature in land stewardship, I’ve developed a methodology that moves away from extraction and into regeneration so that you leave feeling in natures overflow rather than energetic depletion and stress.
