Too bad you came during the only two crappy days of the year so far. We had such fantastic weather recently with loads of sun. This city is so beautiful when the sun is shining, you absolutely must come back!

I took that overnight ferry between Stockholm and Turku a couple of times a decade ago - it’s such an easy way to get a full day there. The taxi driver was surprised I wanted record shots of two Alvar Aalto buildings in the city (after Helsinki I was bitten by the bug) but they don’t exactly jump out at you. Thank you for your work in Ukraine.

In case no-one mentioned it yet - the "thing that scared you" was statue called Posankka (comes from: Possu-Ankka, or Piglet-Duck). English translation could be Piduck.
