Was a privilege and an honour to assist in mixing some of the tracks for the conference, as well as helping with rehearsal and preparation. It was great having insight into what the team were preparing and seeing a glimpse of all the hard work behind the scenes. Although I couldn’t be at the conference due to other commitments, it was still a blessing to see how everything came together. We thank God for what He’s doing through the team at @purposemvmtintl and through @kudzaiii__ 🙏🏾
Big appreciation to my brother & the MD @low3ll_dr for the opportunity and for trusting me to be part of the vision ❤️🤞🏾
SLIDES: 1 - “Just For You” 2 - Quick story-time… @low3ll_dr called me one day, during the period we were working on the tracks and asked if I could do him a favour saying “he needed something for one of the sections, like a loop to add”. Was lazy at first and looked online/at existing loops, but nothing matched the vision I had. My @dgprods_ side kicked in and I ended up creating a loop from scratch, using rehearsal files as reference. 😅 3 - “Just For You” (Live) 4 to 5 - “Gadzirira” 6 - “Gadzirira” (Live) 7 to 8 - “Seek First” 9 - “Seek First” (Live) 10 - Nights with the guys finalising ideas & collaborating 🤝🏾
While mixing, I focused on space, cohesion, and how everything would translate live - levelling, bus & multiband compression, effects, stereo width etc. 👨🏾💻
