The look for ‘No Tomorrow’ was natural and minimal. Along with little time for large lighting setups and mostly shot outside, the gaffing needed to be efficient.

Achieved through a majority of negative fills and single light backlights, DP @ryansfigueroa and I collaborated to create a natural-looking image to ground director’s @charlespluke end-of-the-world story.

At night, subjects were cross-light, and ladders were used to cheat the frame when our camera couldn’t find the right angle.

Follow to stay in the loop. ‘No Tomorrow’, releasing in April.
