Wearing a reminder on my sleeve today from @threadnote.co
The Gospel of Matthew 5:11–12 reminds us that being persecuted for Christ isn’t something strange, it’s something promised.
But so is joy.
So is eternal reward.
So is our eternal relationship with Jesus.
We don’t share the Gospel for approval. We share it for obedience. We share it because how can we keep the most important part of who we are to ourselves? If you found the cure to cancer, wouldn’t you share it? Well, the Gospel is the cure for sin. We are foolish to not spread that news far and wide.
Stay bold. Stay encouraged.
