ABSTRACTION: shooting color-shifting films in the diptych format
In part 4 of this project, I explored abstraction through overlaying different exposures over one another, almost deconstructing the idea of the diptych. Here, I am focusing on the same thing, abstraction, but through a different perspective. Instead of using regular colored 35mm film, I utilized @lomography LomoChrome Purple, which significantly shifts the colors in images - particular those with with greens and blues. I wanted to abstract my environment, but to a lesser degree than that of my overlays in part 4, creating an environment that felt both familiar and alien.
