2017 feels like yesterday, but somehow, we’re already approaching 2027. Ten years ago, we were watching this team create memories, celebrating every victory, arguing over every match, and believing that these moments would last forever. We didn’t realize we were living through an era that we would one day look back on with so much nostalgia. The same faces, the same blue jersey, the same passion, and a team that made cricket feel a little more special. Back then, we were just enjoying the game, unaware that years later, a single picture would take us back to a time we wish we could relive just once. Funny how time changes everything. Players move on, teams change, and new stars emerge, but some memories never get old. 2017 wasn't just a year. It was a whole emotion. 💙 #sarcasm #bleedblue #teamindia #cricket #2017

Back for more Thursday chaos! 😜 That's right - Thursday is for out-of-context quotes! And I've been sharing them from my self-indulgent sci fi, fantasy, action, horror, romance, kitchen sink story WIP about four brothers lost together in the multiverse, The Atlas Brothers Break the Multiverse. Hope you enjoy! And if you liked these, make sure to stick around for more! QOTD: Which of this week's quotes is your favorite? #ScienceFiction #Fantasy #WIP #Snippets
Share this with someone who needs a gentler reminder today. And take a moment to read it yourself, too. It’s easy to look at someone and feel certain we understand them. What they should eat. How hard they should exercise. How quickly they should recover. Sometimes, we turn that same judgment on ourselves. “They’re doing so much better. Why am I still here?” But we rarely know what someone started with, what support they have, or what it took for them to show up today. Even a compliment can carry an assumption. “You’ve lost weight. You look so much healthier.” We may mean it kindly. But we don’t know whether that change came with better habits, illness, grief or a difficult relationship with food. Before commenting, it helps to pause: “Do I know how this person is actually feeling?” You can ask how they’ve been. Listen without immediately offering a solution. Let them decide how much they want to share. And if someone tells you about progress that seems small, resist the urge to raise the bar. You don’t have to follow “I walked for ten minutes today” with “Try twenty tomorrow.” Sometimes, “I know this matters to you. I’m glad you could do it” is enough. Give yourself that same room. Your progress doesn’t become less meaningful because someone else can do more. You’re allowed to begin where you are, accept help and take the time you need. You won’t catch every judgment before it appears. But you can notice it and reconsider. “I don’t know their situation.” “I don’t need to comment on their body.” “I can be proud of myself without comparing.” Nobody should have to explain their pain to deserve a little understanding. Today, try replacing one assumption with curiosity and one harsh thought about yourself with patience. 🤍 #ChooseKindness #BeyondAppearances #HealthJourney #SelfCompassion #LukeCoutinho
