l Fall Fested a little different this year 🩼 #theinjuredjackson
Today, October 13, 2026, is my 34th birthday! Here’s what the last year has looked like. 📸🎞️🎃🍁✨💀👻 In my 33rd year I married my best friend. I saw some of the most beautiful parts of the country and had the joy of taking pictures of some of the cutest weddings, engagements and elopements ever. I traveled to Florida, South Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. I photographed everything I saw on film. I finally convinced my moms to let me take their pictures. I saw a lot of friends and made a bunch of new, very talented friends! I decorated my body with some more tattoos and piercings. I had a seizure for the first time in 8 years. I watched my little sister find her passion and kick ass at motocross. I watched my baby sister graduate high school and start college. I watched my friend since we were babies have a baby. I rebranded, ran a business and still went about every day living with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, endometriosis, ADHD, PMDD, POTS, and more. I leaned into my disabilities for my rebranding, choosing to only shoot film because of my Visual Snow Syndrome. I did about 24 photoshoots. I probs drove @gelatinlabs nuts. I laughed a lot, I cried a lot, and I’m grateful for all of it. Thank you everyone for supporting me and my work. I get stupid sentimental and corny about photography, but it’s been my passion for 18 years now, and getting to do this full time makes all the hard stuff worth it. Having disabilities is it’s own full time job, so getting paid to do what I love definitely makes life a bit easier (even though it’s actually a lot harder running your own business but it’s fine cause I love it 😂). Thank you to my clients for all your trust. I know how important it is having your most important day captured, and the fact that you chose me — a very weird disabled woman — to capture those memories, means the world to me 😂🥰💕 Thank you to my family and friends for loving me for who I am and supporting me always. Can’t wait for what this next year brings! Fun fact: October 13, 1992 was also a Tuesday. There’s no reason you need to know this, but now you do. Cheers, and happy Tuesday!
Last night I had the privilege of joining some incredible people in being an event Chair at London’s 2026 @amfar gala. Congratulations to the wonderful @philiptreacy and @jeremyirons_ for their well deserved honours and thank you to @jamiemiller and @ritaora for their brilliant performances. It was my first time attending and such an education to learn about the amazing work that has been funded by the charity over the last 40 years. So good catching up with the gorgeous @kellyosbourne and lovely to meet @amfar CEO @kyle_t_clifford. A wonderful evening in support of a cause that continues to matter so much.
