After 120 years, NYC’s oldest Italian restaurant closed after Friday night’s service.

On Thursday we had a final farewell dinner and a glass of very good Barolo at Barbetta, one of the first restaurants in the city to introduce patrons to Piedmontese wines, well before the bottles were the list regulars they are now.
