We've been thoroughly enjoying our 2 player games. We're already big fans of tile-laying games and this one hits the "sweet" spot!

We found it really easy to learn, with a quick set up and tidy up time it's a perfect evening game for us!

Peranakan is way more tactical than it first appears. The more games we've played the more cautious we've become about where to place our tiles and meeples.

The mechanic of being able to play a tile on top of another one can really mess up someone's game plan. Hence we've been waiting a little longer sometimes to place our meeples hoping that the will be guaranteed to score some Kueh!

🎨 Obviously it's gorgeous, and we have loved learning about some Peranakan culture too.

✨ As we mentioned we've only played this at 2 players and we think it works perfectly! It plays in 30 minutes and it has just the right amount of crunch that we enjoy!
