When life feels like a lot, I call my friends. Ren could live 5 minutes or 16 hours away and I would still always want to know whatโs happening in her world๐
When we were in 8th grade, Ren moved to Wisconsin from IL which meant we had to get creative to stay connectedโฆ
So we made pancakes over computer screens together every Sunday using Oovoo (iykyk) and it made that year of being apart much more bearable for our teenage angsty selves๐
15 years have passed and our lives look a lot different now than before but our intention of staying connected no matter what has never changed.
Call your people, lean into your connections, let them know they matter to you and that you care. Life keeps on moving & real. authentic. connections sustain us. Itโs okay to have challenges moments and seek out ways to connect with others who anchor you most ๐ซ๐ฅฐ
