Thank you to everyone who visited our exhibition “Spanish Style: Fashion Illuminated, 1550-1700”. Yesterday, our conservation team deinstalled the 16th century dalmatic that was on view, removing it from its display case and transferring it to a special box for transport in advance of being placed in its permanent housing for long-term storage. One of the highlights of the exhibition, the dalmatic was recently restored thanks to a grant from the Greater Hudson Heritage Network (@theghhn)
