🍃 Weston Bend State Park – Just north of KC, this classic Midwestern hike has river overlooks, wooded hills, and scenic terrain that feels way farther from home than it really is.

🌿 White Tail & Old Kate Loop (Parkville Nature Sanctuary) – A scenic woodland loop near Parkville with creek views, rolling paths, and local wildlife — perfect for a nature‑filled hour‑long hike.
