2 months agoFor our 50th anniversary picnic in the park party, I collected all sorts of jars, premade little bouquets of assorted herbs tied up with twine, and the quickly filled the jars w water and jammed the herbs in. Very inexpensive and rustic way to decorate tables for 75 people! And I told them all to take home as many of them as they wanted.
4 months agoCan’t do without my various jars , never cook just one meal & only ever make a large pan of gravy when the roast is made , so many uses, but especially for food that is freshly cooked !!! 👍
5 months agoAnd the flowers were so beautiful.. I cut them for free at an almost empty deserted mall. And they are a different beautiful dark orange day lily
5 months agoI use jars to deliver soups to my neighbors. One has cancer, one just lost his wife. Or I just store in my fridge
5 months agoI want to send u a picture of mine. It’s a pickle jar. I saw the idea on Instagram. I’m gonna keep my labels on.
6 months agoFun tip for easily removing labels! Spray the label with Pam Non-Stick cooking spray, let it sit for a min or so and then rub it off. Sometimes I use a knife to get stubborn adhesive off but usually it all comes off easily.
