Yesterday I was reminded why I will NEVER stop talking about women’s health. ❤️ I was supposed to be discussing endometriosis, women’s healthcare and the reality of living and working with chronic health conditions on national television. But the interview was dropped and another story took priority. I understand that happens in news. But the irony wasn’t lost on me. Because isn’t that exactly what happens to women’s health, time and time again? We’re told to wait. To put up with the pain. That it’s normal. That it’s just part of being a woman. Yet in 2026, the average diagnosis time for endometriosis in the UK is STILL 9 years and 4 months. Nine years of potentially suffering, questioning your body and fighting to be heard. This isn’t about one cancelled interview. It’s about a much bigger problem. Women’s health should never be an afterthought. Our pain deserves investigation. Our conditions deserve research. Our bodies deserve understanding. And our voices deserve to be heard. I’ve experienced the frustration of fighting for answers myself, and if I can use this platform to make even one woman question symptoms she’s been told to ignore, I will. Because we deserve better than being told to just get on with it. Women’s health is not a secondary issue. It’s a priority. And it’s time we started treating it like one. 🤍

This is a post I've wanted to share for a long time. A lot of people might look at these two pictures and think, "Wow, she's changed so much!" Or perhaps, "She looks really muscular in the picture on the left, but not in the one on the right." Some might even say I look masculine in one and feminine in the other. The truth is, I'm exactly the same in both pictures. These photos were taken just a few months apart, and my body composition is virtually identical. The same weight, the same muscle mass, the same body fat. So what's different? My outfit. The lighting. The setting. My posture. And the fact that I'm deliberately flexing in one picture to show my muscles, whereas I'm completely relaxed in the other. It's incredibly easy to change how your physique looks depending on the lighting, the angle, whether you've got a pump on or how you're posing. The reality is that, day to day, I look much more like the picture on the right when I'm wearing normal clothes and haven't just trained. And this is something worth remembering, both when looking at other people's bodies on social media and when judging your own. You can look "too big", "too small", "too muscular", "too lean", "too masculine" or "too feminine" depending on the setting, the outfit or who's looking at you. You simply cannot judge someone's entire physique, lifestyle or appearance from one photograph. And you certainly shouldn't let somebody else's opinion dictate how you feel about your own body. The same body can look completely different without changing at all. So the next time you find yourself comparing your body to someone else's online, remember that you're only seeing one moment, one angle and one version of that person. And if you've ever been made to feel like your body is somehow "too much" or "not enough", please remember that you don't have to fit into anyone else's idea of what you should look like. You are allowed to be more than one thing. You don't have to fit into one box, and you don't have to be everyone's cup of tea.
