My recent performance with the @ottawablackcreativeshub back in February.

I walked into this set prepared to do everything perfectly. I had it all memorized, rehearsed multiple times & genuinely felt prepared. Even moments before I stepped out on stage, I had it all down. But I still messed up despite the my hours of writing & preparation.

I over analyzed it to the point I was not going to post it. But, the piece is about working through my childhood desire to be perfect. God ended up using this performance as an example.

Perfect or not, do what you do & share your work!

But, thank you to every single friend who popped out / tried to, just to see your girl. I still feel the warmth from the hugs you all gave me🩷🎀
