Do you keep waiting to feel motivated before you start and then wonder why you never seem to build momentum? 🧠

I’m a psychologist. And we get motivation completely backwards.

We think we need to feel motivated first, then we’ll take action. But action is actually what creates the feeling. Not the other way around.

One tiny action makes the next one easier. Then the next. Then the next.

Open the document. Put your shoes on. Write one sentence. Send one email.

So instead of asking “how do I make myself feel motivated?” .. ask .. “what’s the smallest action that could start the momentum?”

You don’t need to feel ready. You just need one block to topple. 💛

Comment MINI and I’ll send you the link to my Pocket Psychologist Mini Course where I share pocket sized tips to help you through day to day. 🧠

🚨 Wayne Rooney with a 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 on Lisandro Martínez’s words about Man United’s director after the defeat to Atlético! 🔴⚠️

“I think he’s maybe gone a bit 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐫, and that should have stayed internal.”

“He wants the club to invest more money in more players, and to do that he’s probably one of the players who’ll be 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑, if I’m being honest.” 🚫

“His performances 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡. I think in some ways he’s right in terms of the club needing to invest more at the top end of the pitch and the defence, but I think it looks like it was a bit of an agenda.”

“I disagree. I thought that the performance was okay. I thought it was better, so there were some positive signs.”

“𝐇𝐄’𝐒 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒... It’s not going to help the situation at the club at the minute.” 💢

Cultists Renovated a Police Station in Rivers State.

Today, October 15, DNKI (Vikings) cultists in Trans Amadi, Rivers State (Trans Marine Platoon), reportedly unveiled the renovation of a section of the police station at Abuloma, Okuru Junction.

While Naija Confra encourages cultists to “Reject Violence,” we strongly oppose cultism within our security institutions. These institutions are the common man’s last hope in the fight against crime and must never be infiltrated or compromised by cult groups. If cultists renovate or build police stations, will the police still arrest them in the same police stations they built? Reject Cultism.

Year 1 in the books.

Excited for what’s ahead!

Thank you to Portland and our incredible fans for all the support.

happy feet
